BSP / Materials & Structures
Material. Surface.
Structure.
Three different specification decisions. Understand what each one describes before comparing air mattresses for your brand.
Laznest Outdoor is a Chinese B2B trading company collaborating with partner factories on product sourcing, customization assessment, sample coordination and order requirements. We are not an owner-operated factory.
01 / MATERIAL
PVC or TPU Composite
What the specified body or composite construction is made from.
02 / SURFACE
Flocking
A surface finish. It does not identify the underlying primary material.
03 / STRUCTURE
Drop-stitch
An internal construction. It is not a primary material or performance rating.
01 / Material choices
Start with the material specification.
A material name is a starting point--not proof of weight, service life, air retention or suitability for a particular market.
PRIMARY MATERIAL CHOICE
PVC
PVC air beds are within Laznest's main sourcing scope for temporary indoor sleeping and family or car-camping applications. The exact formulation, thickness, finish and construction must be confirmed for the selected model.
- Compare finished-product weight and packed dimensions--not material name alone.
- Assess quotation cost alongside pump configuration, packaging and freight volume.
- Request matching evidence for seams, valves, air retention and intended-use durability.
SKU thickness, weight, load capacity and test results: Pending Confirmation on this page.
MATERIAL CHOICE / FEASIBILITY REVIEW
TPU Composite
TPU Composite options can be assessed with partner factories. The composite label alone does not establish the substrate, layer stack, thickness, bonding method or availability for a requested air-bed design.
- Confirm each layer and the finished-product construction with the factory.
- Evaluate material sourcing, processing and sampling costs against the actual brief.
- Do not assume that TPU Composite is inherently lighter, tougher or more comfortable.
Available SKU, composition, production feasibility and matching evidence: Pending Confirmation.
02 / Surface finish
Flocking describes the surface.
Not the whole mattress.
Flocking refers to a fiber-based surface finish applied to a substrate. Specify it separately from the primary material and internal structure.
For a home or guest-bed brief, assess the actual sample's touch, cleaning instructions, surface wear and compatibility with intended bedding. Surface appearance is not evidence of comfort, grip, insulation or service life.
Write three separate specification lines
- Primary material
- Confirm the actual substrate
- Surface finish
- Plain or flocked, as specified
- Internal structure
- Confirm the actual construction
This is a specification-writing guide, not an available SKU or an assertion that all combinations can be produced.
CONCEPTUAL 2D DIAGRAM · NOT TO SCALE
03 / Internal structure
Drop-stitch is a construction.
Not a primary material.
Drop-stitch describes an internal arrangement of connecting threads between opposing faces. The materials forming those faces and the outer enclosure must be identified separately.
Construction can affect shape and support behavior, but the label does not establish a SKU's working pressure, load capacity, stability, weight or durability. These require the actual design specification and matching test evidence.
Coil Beam, I-Beam and Standard Air Chamber are also construction classifications--not universal quality grades. Confirm the chamber or reinforcement layout for each model.
Do not infer "better" from the structure name.
A suitable choice depends on intended use, dimensions, pressure, material stack, assembly and sample validation. No universal performance ranking is claimed here.

04 / Application-specific trade-offs
Compare the use case.
Then compare the SKU.
Weight, cost and durability interact with size, bed height, material thickness, structure, pump and packaging. Compare like-for-like samples under relevant, documented conditions.
HOME & TEMPORARY GUEST BEDS
Balance setup and storage.
Consider bed height, stability, surface care, night-time air retention and the selected pump configuration. Carrying weight may be less critical than for a walking trip, but storage and packed volume still matter.
Required evidence: relevant load and stability tests, defined air-retention observations and pump evidence where applicable.
FAMILY & CAR CAMPING
Fit the space and routine.
Check tent or vehicle fit, packed dimensions, carrying weight, inflation access and intended ground-contact conditions. A reinforcement or thicker layer may change both mass and cost; verify the result rather than assuming it.
Required evidence: finished weight, packed measurements and relevant seam, surface, valve and air-retention testing.
LIGHTWEIGHT HIKING & COLD CONDITIONS
Treat as a separate brief.
Lightweight hiking pads and high-R-value sleep systems are not interchangeable with raised air beds. Thickness is not proof of insulation. A TPU or Drop-stitch label does not establish hiking suitability.
Supply capability: Pending Confirmation. Require applicable thermal evidence, weight and packed-volume validation.
Cost is more than the quoted unit price.
Assess the current USD quotation together with packaging volume, freight, applicable import costs, pump or battery requirements, inventory exposure and potential service costs. We do not claim a fixed price advantage for any material or structure. Prices and availability require an order-specific quotation.
05 / Evidence before claims
Match the evidence
to the exact product.
A generic material description or another model's report cannot substantiate a selected SKU's performance.
Partner factories carry out production and internal inspection. Laznest coordinates requirements and inspection arrangements. Test methods, sampling and acceptance criteria must be agreed for the relevant SKU.
A 24-hour pressure observation alone is not a universal pass standard or a guarantee against leakage.
Buyer evidence checklist
- 01 / Product identity. Match SKU, dimensions, material version, structure, surface and pump configuration.
- 02 / Measured data. Request actual weight, packed dimensions, load and operating-pressure evidence where claimed.
- 03 / Test conditions. Record method, duration, temperature, pressure, load, sample quantity and acceptance criteria.
- 04 / Document traceability. Check report date, issuing organization, applicable standard and the tested material or model version.
- 05 / Market applicability. Assess target-country requirements for the actual materials, intended use and electrical or battery configuration.
- 06 / Sample alignment. Compare the approved sample and final specifications with production requirements before committing to claims.
Matching test documents for claims on this page: Pending Confirmation. No certification, test pass rate, universal load rating or zero-leakage claim is made.
06 / Catalog navigation
Explore related classifications.
The existing catalog taxonomy contains both material-related and structure-related names. These links are navigation aids--not evidence that a classification is a primary material, an available product or a verified performance level.

Browse the material-related catalog archive. Confirm each product's current specifications separately.
Archive listings do not confirm current stock, image authorization or SKU evidence.
Drop-stitch Air Mattresses
Browse the structure-related catalog archive. Drop-stitch describes construction, not the primary material.
Archive listings do not confirm current stock, image authorization or SKU evidence.

I-Beam
Explore this internal-structure classification. Do not infer performance from the category name.

07 / Prepare a sourcing brief
Define what your brand needs.
Provide your target market, intended application and measurable requirements. We can then assess options with partner factories rather than recommend a material by name alone.
Custom materials, dimensions, finishes, structures and pump options require factory feasibility, costing and sample confirmation before a production commitment.
Include in your RFQ
- Target country and indoor, family-camping or car-camping use.
- Required dimensions, bed height and packed-size limits.
- Material, surface and internal-structure requirements, listed separately.
- Pump and accessories required; neither is assumed to be included.
- Target weight, load, air-retention and durability criteria with test expectations.
- Quantity per model, size and color; packaging and procurement schedule.
MOQ is normally at least 500 units per model × size × color combination. Different combinations cannot be pooled to reach the MOQ. Final terms are confirmed in the quotation and PI.
Verified inquiry destination and tested form delivery: Pending Confirmation. No unverified contact link or submission form is provided in this draft.
