Brand sourcing / Custom-size development

Custom-Size Air Mattresses

Start with the space. Define the dimensions. Validate the design.

Laznest Outdoor is a Chinese B2B trading company collaborating with partner factories. We coordinate requirements, feasibility review and samples for air-mattress, camping and home-sleep brands--not arbitrary-size instant pricing.

01 / Define the envelope

Three dimensions. One agreed measurement method.

Length

Specify the fully inflated outer length, head to foot. Distinguish the usable sleeping area from the external footprint; rounded edges or integrated features may make them different.

Width

Specify the maximum inflated side-to-side width. State whether your requirement concerns the sleeping surface or total outer width, and check bedding compatibility separately.

Inflated bed height

Define floor-to-top height when inflated and unloaded. Loaded height depends on the structure and use conditions. Greater height alone does not establish greater support, comfort or insulation.

Record units, dimensional tolerances, inflation condition, measurement location and whether the bed is loaded. Pressure and conditioning requirements are SKU-specific: Pending confirmation until agreed with the partner factory.

02 / Match the actual space

A floor plan is only the starting point.

Tent & family camping

  • Measure the usable inner floor, not just the tent's advertised dimensions.
  • Check wall slope at the proposed bed height; a raised bed may meet the fabric before reaching the floor boundary.
  • Allow practical space for the entrance, luggage, circulation, valve access and the selected inflation method.
  • Confirm whether the bed can be inflated inside or moved through the opening once inflated.

Family and car camping are the relevant starting points. Do not infer ultralight hiking suitability or an R-value from bed dimensions.

Guest-room & temporary sleep

  • Check doors, furniture, skirting and the clear floor footprint in the intended arrangement.
  • Assess access around the bed and room to operate the valve or a separately selected pump.
  • Discuss the preferred entry height and bedding fit, then validate them on the sample.
  • Specify storage and package constraints separately; inflated dimensions do not predict packed size.

There is no universal clearance allowance. Confirm fit in the actual tent or room before approving the sample.

03 / Existing catalog references

Existing SKU ≠ proposed custom size.

Examples below are restricted to public products recorded as Verified, with publication review and a verification source. Missing values remain "Pending confirmation." Open verification notes conservatively prevent numerical dimension and MOQ display. Recorded terms still require confirmation for your proposed order.

Verified public examples: Pending confirmation

No publicly viewable product met this draft's verification checks. Numerical dimensions and SKU-specific customization, MOQ and sampling claims have therefore been omitted. Published status alone does not establish verification.

04 / Engineering review

Resizing is not simply stretching a drawing.

The points here are design considerations, not verified performance claims for every product. A partner factory must evaluate the selected construction and proposed dimensions.

Internal structure & support

Length, width and height changes may require revisions to internal ties, baffles, chambers or a drop-stitch construction, where applicable. Stability, usable surface and loaded shape need sample evaluation; material names alone do not establish performance.

Weld layout & tooling

Panel patterns, seam positions, weld access and tooling may change. The factory must review its process limits and whether new tooling or additional sampling is necessary. No zero-leakage guarantee or universal weld-strength claim is implied.

Inflation, packaging & verification

Changed volume may affect pump selection and inflation behavior. Packed dimensions and freight implications must be measured rather than derived from bed size. Agree SKU-specific dimensional, seam and air-retention checks; observation time alone is not a complete pass criterion. Pumps and accessories are not automatically included.

05 / Sampling & order boundaries

Validate the sample before committing the batch.

These are confirmed company-level guidelines, qualified by factory feasibility and the final PI. They are not guaranteed terms for each existing or custom SKU.

Sampling guideline

  • Sample fees and international courier charges are collected before sampling.
  • Sampling generally takes approximately 7 days, excluding transport; custom development and tooling may require a different schedule.
  • The sample fee can be fully credited against a subsequent bulk order under the agreed terms. Courier-fee credit is not implied.
  • Buyer-requested changes to confirmed requirements can incur corresponding resampling costs.
  • Approve the sample and final specification version before bulk production.

MOQ & production guideline

  • Typical MOQ is at least 500 units per model × size × color combination.
  • Different models, sizes or colors cannot be combined to meet that typical minimum. Logo customization generally starts at 500 units.
  • Whether different logos or packaging can share an order allocation is Pending confirmation.
  • Bulk production is generally approximately 50 calendar days after the 30% deposit is actually received and all production materials are finally confirmed; major Chinese holidays or shutdowns extend the schedule.
  • This is a production guideline, not a delivery date. Shipping time is separate; current custom-SKU terms require written confirmation.

06 / Your development brief

Bring the dimensions.
Keep the assumptions visible.

Use this checklist when contacting Laznest through your established business channel. No live submission form or unverified contact destination is provided in this draft.

Pricing follows specification review and partner-factory costing. There is no online arbitrary-size calculator, automatic quote or instant production commitment.
